Yearly, I evaluate Am J Health Behav reviewers for their response time and quality of reviews. Moreover, persons who have not been responsive, repeatedly late, or have chosen not to continue to review manuscripts are removed as reviewers.

In 2004, 14 reviewers were removed. Ten persons removed were from the back cover (Review Board); however, this time around 4 persons from the front inside cover (Editorial Board Members) were removed.

Based on their response time, quality of reviews, and that they are members of the American Academy of Health Behavior:

Amanda S. Birnbaum, Weill Cornel Medical Center
Gary l. Kreps, George Mason University
Patricia D. Mail, University of Washington
John Sciacca, Northern Arizona University

were selected to move from the Review Board (back cover) to the Editorial Board (front inside cover) . All the new promotions are a little higher on the editorial chain. The change will appear beginning with the Jan/Feb 2005 issue of the journal.

I applaud ALL reviewers for your hard work and dedication for reviewing is the most thankless service that professionals provide. Hope that all of you have a great and prosperous new year!
